Beaver Valley Tidal Waves

The Beaver Valley Tidal Waves Swim Team is dedicated to nurturing the growth and excellence of swimmers aged 5 to 18. Our mission is to provide children in the surrounding community with the opportunity to learn and compete in swimming. We achieve this by emphasizing fundamental skills, promoting good sportsmanship, nurturing self-esteem, and fostering teamwork. Our inclusive swim team welcomes all children in Beaver County, and currently we have swimmers from New Brighton, Beaver, Beaver Falls, Blackhawk, Freedom, Hopewell, and Central Valley School Districts. As an active member of the Western Central Pennsylvania Swim League (WCPSL), we participate in competitive events during the winter season, which runs from October to March. Our practices are held at Beaver Falls High School, and we recognize the importance of accommodating swimmers’ multiple commitments. Therefore, we offer flexible practice times and numerous swim meet opportunities to ensure that all swimmers can participate fully.

   • The club was initially established in 2015 as the New Brighton Lions Aquatics Club.
   • In 2021, we relocated from Sunrise Pool to the pool at Beaver Falls High School.
   • With this move, we proudly adopted the name Beaver Valley Tidal Waves, signifying our acceptance of swimmers from any town within the Beaver Valley.
